3 being the first 3G operator to connect to four major MTR lines

3's 3G network further extends coverage to MTR Tsuen Wan Line, delivering seamless mobile communication services from Tsim Sha Tsui to Tsuen Wan, from ground to tunnels

3 Hong Kong has again taken the lead in local 3G network development by further extending its 3G network coverage to MTR Tsuen Wan Line, following earlier extension to MTR Island Line, Airport Express and Tung Chung Line. By extending 3G coverage to all the 14 MTR stations along Tsuen Wan Line, from Tsim Sha Tsui station to Tsuen Wan station, 3's 3G network provides customers with seamless 3G video communication service and high-speed video content at four major lines of MTR, from ground to tunnels. 3 Hong Kong expects its 3G network to be fully connected to all MTR stations by August 2005.

In addition to MTR coverage, 3 Hong Kong is also the first to provide 3G network coverage in all of Hong Kong's 12 major vehicle tunnels, including the Lion Rock Tunnel, Cross Harbour Tunnel, Cheung Tsing Tunnel, Aberdeen Tunnel, Eastern Harbour Tunnel, Western Harbour Crossing, Airport Tunnel, Discovery Bay Tunnel, Shing Mun Tunnel, Tate's Cairn Tunnel, Tseung Kwan O Tunnel and Tai Lam Tunnel. The extended coverage enables 3 customers to enjoy the broad range of fabulous 3G video communication services without interruption while traveling through any vehicle tunnel in the territory.
