| Skype enrols in X-Series Mobile Broadband Internet World - Talk freely to over 100 million Skype users for a monthly fee of $18 |

3 Hong Kong today announced the launch of Skype service, enabling customers to connect with Skype users all over the world on X-Series mobile phones, a breakthrough in the limit of sticking with computers as required. Skype is another new member of X-Series mobile broadband Internet world. Customers can make unlimited Skype calls* at $18 per month and have no worries of data charges.
Skype is a well-known peer-to-peer Internet telephony network, with over 100 million users all over the world, and more than 1,000 new users registered the service each day in Hong Kong. Calling other users with Skype on the Internet is free, but calling fixed-line and mobile phones numbers by SkypeIN or SkypeOut are required to pay by minute.
Calling up Skype friends anytime and anywhere
X-Series Skype is easy to use, first to download Skype software from X-Series handset, log on to the same Skype account name and password, and then ready to make Skype calls. There is no hassle to make a new registration or update the contact list. Each time to make a Skype call, just choose a Skype ID from the contact list, then press the call button. Customers can keep the Skype on the handset so as to get ready to receive Skype calls anytime.
Customers are required to have a Skype account before using X-Series Skype, and first-time registration can be done via skype.hgcbroadband.com.
Handsets support X-Series Skype include Nokia N73、Nokia N95、Nokia E65, and LG U970, and there will be more handset choices soon.
Monthly fee of $18 and no data charges
Customers can make unlimited Skype calls* at only $18 a month and without any data charges, Customers who subscribe to X-Series $88 or $138 package are entitled to waive the monthly fee of Skype. Free trial of X-Series Skype is effective from today until 31 July 2007.
