A revolutionary way to learn English on the move
Hong Kong, 20 Dec 2006 – 3 Hong Kong, Linguaphone Institute (Hong Kong) Limited and Mind Works Limited have introduced a revolutionary way to learn English with 3G phones. Subscribe to Linguaphone’s allTalk English language programme, now exclusively available at 3, and keen learners can learn English at their own pace anytime, anywhere.
allTalk, an eight-hour long English language self learning course, covering everyday English and popular topics in real life, has been formatted into high quality audio clips and is now available for downloading at the 3 portal on 3 mobile. Each individual audio clip can stand alone but together they form a complete story and a well structured basic English course. For a monthly subscription fee of $98, subscribers can download up to 15 audio clips per month. Each lasts about three to five minutes, teaching basic conversation, usage, vocabulary and sentence structures.
The programme is narrated by native Cantonese speakers. Detailed explanation and translation are available in the learner’s mother tongue for ease of understanding, with native English speakers conducting conversations in a mix of standard British and American English. Interactive sessions are specially designed to allow learners to improve their language ability through constant practice and revision.
