Automatic Video Editing
When uploading photos and videos to Magisto, its AI engine will analyse them using a unique algorithm which breaks into 3 levels - visual, audio analysis and storytelling
   
Visual Analysis
On visual side, everything from in-frame action to camera motion, face detection and indexing, object detection and tracking, facial recognition etc are being analysed. This helps to understand which parts of the uploaded footage are the most interesting, and also to determine whether the video needs to be stabilized, color corrected or maximized.
   
Audio Analysis
Audio analysis detects speech, classifies the different types of audio within the uploaded footage, analyzes the selected music track and determines how each of these elements will best work together to tell your story.
   
Storytelling
Based on the findings from visual and audio analysis, AI begins to construct a script for the final cut of your Movie - we understand who your main characters are, what the topic of your Movie is and more and, based on this information paired with the video style selected, we use emotion guided editing techniques to edit your Movie together.

Terms and conditions
  1. Magisto ("this Service") is a film editing service.  A customer may make use of this Service by completing the application for this Service and then searching for and downloading the software application (Apps) of Magisto (the "Magisto Apps") from Google Play. 
  2. The original service fee shall be HK$18 per month.  If the customer is to subscribe for this Service as the designated value-added service commitment when engaging for a fixed contract term for its newly subscribed mobile devices, , and to subscribe for a designated monthly plan for mobile devices, then the customer will be entitled to subscribe for this Service at a preferential service fee, namely HK$12 per month.
  3. If the customer is to subscribe for this Service as the designated value-added service commitment when engaging for a fixed contract term for its newly subscribed mobile devices, then any termination of the monthly plan for the mobile devices or the services therefor for whatever reasons shall also lead to the automatic termination of this Service accordingly.
  4. This Service shall only be applicable to the 3G or 4G LTE mobile customers of Hutchison Telephone Company Limited ("HTCL") but not any prepaid SIM card customers.
  5. This Service shall be charged with a fixed monthly service fee. Even if the customer is to actually use this Service for less than a month for whatever reasons, the applicable monthly service fee shall still be payable by the customer in full but not refundable at all on any pro-rata basis. Once the customer has confirmed its subscription for this Service, the service fee shall automatically be chargeable on a monthly basis.
  6. This Service shall only be applicable to the operation systems of iOS6.0 or above, and Android 2.3 or above.
  7. When the customer is to download the Magisto Apps and/or use this Service through the data network, the relevant data transfer fee shall additionally be charged by HTCL.  If the customer is to download the Magisto Apps and/or use this Service overseas, it may be required to pay separately the relevant data roaming fee.
  8. If, at the time of or after subscribing for this Service through HTCL, the customer is also to apply or subscribe for this Service through any other way for whatever reasons and results in any extra fee or loss therefrom, HTCL shall not in any event be responsible for any such extra fee or loss.
  9. If the customer would like to terminate this Service, it must notify HTCL by calling the Customer Service Hotline 1033.  The termination of this Service shall forthwith become effective as from the first payment due date of the monthly service fee immediately after HTCL's receipt from the customer of the termination notice.  Even if the customer is to notify HTCL to terminate this Service before the payment due date of the service fee for the relevant month, the termination of this Service shall only be effective as from such payment due date (notwithstanding that the customer shall still be obliged to pay in full the service fee for such relevant month which shall not in any event be refundable at all on any pro-rata basis).
  10. Any subsequent or renewal subscription for this Service by the customer after any prior termination of this Service for whatever reasons shall be regarded as a new subscription for this Service.  The customer shall have to call directly to the Customer Service Hotline 1033 for completing the new subscription procedure, and the new service term/contractual term (if applicable) and billing for this Service shall then commence accordingly as from the completion of the relevant subscription procedure by the customer.
  11. The content of this Service shall be provided by a third party supplier, namely SIGHTERA TECHNOLOGIES LTD.  The content of this Service may change without any prior notice.  HTCL shall not be responsible for any liability incurred from or in connection with the content, the downloading of the Magisto Apps and/or use of this Service (including but not limited to the accuracy of the information provided by the third party supplier, and any fees, expenses, losses and damages incurred from or caused by the downloading of the Magisto Apps and/or use of this Service by the customer or any other persons).  HTCL shall have the final discretion as to any disputes in all respects in relation to this Service.
  12. Once the customer has successfully subscribed for this Service, it shall be subject to the terms and conditions contained herein, and shall also be subject to the 3G and 4G LTE Service Terms and Conditions of HTCL which can be found on HTCL’s website http://mobile.three.com.hk/3DX?uid=12105. If there is any conflict between the terms and conditions relating to this Service and the 3G and 4G LTE Service Terms and Conditions of HTCL, the former shall prevail.Should there be any inconsistencies between the Chinese and English versions of these terms and conditions relating to this Service, the English version shall prevail.
