3 Hong Kong has launched the "Recycling of Handset Accessories" corporate social responsibility program to encourage everyone to help protect the environment and make good use of Earth's resources by handing over unwanted handset accessories for recycling.
We have placed handset accessory recycling boxes at more than 40 locations – including certain 3Shops, 3Mobile Device Service Centres and the 3Experience Workshop – all over Hong Kong to promote responsible disposal of old phone accessories, such as batteries, chargers, headphones, earpieces, USB cables and stylus pens. These items will be passed to the "Rechargeable Battery Recycling Programme" run by the Environmental Protection Department, industry and green groups, as well as other voluntary organisations for recycling or reuse, building on the town's growing environmental awareness.
